Last Friday Mustard (and their human assistant) took you on a journey through their CD booklet. To our surprise it has not collected a lot of dust. It was a lot of fun to revisit this booklet and see what they still owned.
Today we will browse through the rest of their collection. Many CDs they have learned have been lost in time. Mustard moved a lot during their childhood and early adulthood so CDs must have been sacrified or lost in the process.
With that all said - let’s see what else is in our collection!

Pacing - Real poetry is always about plants and birds and trees and the animals and milk and honey breathing in the pink but real life is behind a screen
Mustard got the special DVD edition of this album and it is one of their absolute favorites. Pacing puts so much love and effort into their physical merchandise. This is one of their favorite albums of all time and one they listen to on a consistent basis.
Pacing - Snake Facts
Mustard loves this record from Pacing as well. Fun little story: Mustard helped inspire its creation. Back before Twitter was a cesspool Pacing was sharing snake facts. Mustard replied and wondered: what if you made a snake facts EP? A few months later and it became a reality.
Both of these albums should be in your collection. They recommend you to subscribe to

Tenacious D - Tenacious D
This was one of Mustard’s favorite albums during Condiment High. It is one they still listen to now. They have always wanted a short film inspired by their track “City Hall” to be made. Perhaps it will in the future.
Hootie and the Blowfish - Imperfect Circle
The reason Mustard knows about music is because of Hootie and the Blowfish. As a condiment in the grocery store they were the first music they heard after being stocked onto the shelve. To be honest - they don’t remember much about this album. Believe they bought it at a flea market.
Metallica - Masters of Puppets
Mustard loves listening to metal music while in an automobile. Metallica oddly soothes them and helps them feel relaxed. Pretty positive this was bought at Walmart for 5 dollars.

The burned CD section!
Dr. Martino - No Outlet/Caving In EP
Mustard grew up and lived in Connecticut most of their life. Dr. Martino was an independent band they heard a lot about during their undergraduate tenure and for good reason - they rock. Both of these albums they bought on Bandcamp and transferred to a compact disc.
Flying Raccoon Suit - Afterglow
Afterglow is one of the best ska records you will listen to. When they first listened to it they were blown away. The modern ska scene has some incredible acts such as Flying Raccoon Suit.
Operation Ivy - Operation Ivy
Another must everyone should have in their collection. This album was one of their introductions to the punk/ska scene.

The Lonely Island - Incredibad
Mustard loves The Lonely Island. Anything related to The Lonely Island they will listen to. Mustard is manifesting a new Lonely Island album for this year.
Killswitch Engage - Atonement
Mustard has no recollection of this album.

Tom Waits - Bad As Me
Tom Waits is one of Mustard’s favorite artists. At the time they were writing a lot of poetry and Waits songwriting really helped inspire them. They discovered them in college and tried their best at owning their complete collection. This album they remember came as a booklet with lyrics and a bonus disc.
R.E.M. - Murmur
An essential for your collection. Mustard found this at a flea market and was elated. If there is one band Mustard wish they got the opportunity to see - it is R.E.M.
Mayson’s Party - Mayson’s Party
Mayon’s Party are a kick ass ska band from Japan. Much like the band themselves - this album also kicks ass.

Gogol Bordello - Super Taranta!
Oh my goodness! Mustard remembers being hooked on this album. Purple is their favorite color and to have a band sing a song instructing you to wear purple - it was perfect. The energy of Gogol Bordello is unreal.
Metallica - Ride The Lightning
Mustard really enjoyed Metallica, okay?
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Question The Answers
Mustard bought both of these at a flea market. Despite being a huge fan of ska they never really got into Mighty Mighty Bosstones like they were hoping they would.

Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
This is the first Tom Waits album Mustard bought after much research at the time. They need to revisit this.
JER - Bothered/Unbothered
A modern ska classic. JER (also known as Skatune Network) has been instrumental in introducing Mustard (and others) to the current ska scene. This is an album they listen to frequently.
Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III
Bought this because they were told it was a hip hop classic. Don’t remember much about it.
“Weird Al” Yankovic - Greatest Hits
A nice compilation of some wonderful Weird Al songs. This is a CD they still listen to every now and then.
Mustard wonders:
Are any of these CDs in your collection?
Which CD surprised you the most?
Yay! Love to see the Pacing representation :) Saw her and the band last month and they ruled!
Love this essay and seeing the plethora of burned CDs. Reminds me of my my CD booklets!
